The K&N 69-8006TTK Typhoon Performance intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your 2015-2017 Subaru WRX. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in a textured black powder coat, designed to provide a more direct path for airflow into the turbocharger. By reducing air path restriction and turbulence, this intake improves throttle response and induction sound.
Included is a K&N High-Flow Air Filter made from oiled cotton media. The oversized conical design offers high surface area for extended service intervals, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. A custom-fit heat shield is included to help isolate the intake air from engine bay heat, ensuring cooler, denser air enters the system. This bolt-on kit typically installs in 90 minutes or less using factory mounting points.
