The K&N 71 Series Blackhawk Induction air intake system is engineered for drivers who demand a stealthy, all-black aesthetic without sacrificing engine protection. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, black powder-coated aluminum mandrel-bent tube designed to provide a smooth path for airflow into the engine. At the heart of the system is the oil-free DRYFLOW synthetic filter media, which provides exceptional filtration and airflow without the need for periodic re-oiling.
Installation is straightforward, typically completed in under 90 minutes using basic hand tools, as the kit bolts directly to factory mounting points. A robust steel heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser intake charge.
