The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Performance intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. This system features a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube that delivers cooler, denser air to the engine for improved throttle response. It is paired with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter made from oiled cotton media, which is washable and reusable for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway conditions.
To ensure maximum performance, the kit includes a custom heat shield designed to protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures. The entire system is engineered for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using factory mounting points.
