Fits select 2014-2021 Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 models with the 2.5L engine.
The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Performance Intake Kit (69-6032TS) replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve airflow and throttle response. This system utilizes a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to reduce air turbulence. It is paired with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. This washable, reusable filter can travel up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
A custom-engineered heat shield is included to help protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, promoting a cooler and denser air charge. The entire system is a direct bolt-on replacement that can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
