The K&N 57 Series FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This system utilizes a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube to increase airflow volume to the engine, improving throttle response and providing a measurable increase in horsepower and torque. The oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter is constructed from washable, oiled cotton media, allowing for up to 100,000 miles of use between services under normal highway driving conditions.

To maintain performance in high-temperature environments, the kit includes a custom heat shield that isolates the air filter from engine heat, ensuring a cooler air charge. This entire system is engineered for a straightforward installation that can typically be completed in 90 minutes or less using standard hand tools.
