This system is engineered to provide a smoother, more direct path for airflow to reach your 7.4L V8 engine. It features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube that increases the volume of air while managing intake temperatures. To further protect the intake charge, a custom-designed heat shield isolates the air filter from high engine bay heat.

The kit includes a washable, reusable K&N High-Flow Air Filter made from oiled cotton media. Its oversized conical design allows for extended service intervals up to 100,000 miles under normal highway conditions. This bolt-on upgrade is designed for a straightforward installation, typically completed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
