By utilizing a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube, this kit increases the volume of airflow to your engine while smoothing the air path to reduce turbulence. The system features an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media. This washable and reusable filter provides superior filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required under normal highway driving conditions. To further protect intake air from radiant engine heat, a custom-engineered heat shield is included. The entire bolt-on system is designed for a straightforward installation that can typically be completed in under 90 minutes.
