Fits 1999-2005 Mazda Miata (Base, LS, Mazdaspeed, SE, Shinsen, and 10th Anniversary).
The K&N 69-6000TP Typhoon air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air box and paper filter with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. Engineered to significantly reduce airflow restriction while smoothing and straightening the air path, this system allows your engine to inhale a larger volume of air for improved throttle response and acceleration across the entire powerband. The intake tube features an attractive, durable polished finish and is designed to accommodate the factory mass air flow (MAF) sensor, air temperature sensor, and crankcase vent hose.
This system includes a washable, reusable K&N High-Flow Air Filter with a black rubber top, which can go up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required. The entire kit is designed to bolt directly to factory mounting points, typically requiring 90 minutes or less for installation.
