The K&N 57-2532 Performance Intake Kit is designed to replace the restrictive factory air box and intake path, providing a smoothed, high-volume airflow route to your engine. This system features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube that maintains cooler intake temperatures and optimizes air velocity for improved throttle response and power delivery.
Protection is handled by an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter utilizing oiled cotton media. This washable and reusable filter is engineered to provide excellent filtration and high airflow for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. To further protect the intake charge, a custom-designed heat shield is included to isolate the filter from engine bay heat. This entire bolt-on system is designed for a straightforward installation that can typically be completed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
