K&N Universal Air Filters are engineered for specialized applications where a custom intake solution is required. These filters feature a dual-flange design with an oval shape, specifically built to handle the demands of high-performance engines. The filter media is constructed from K&N’s signature washable cotton gauze, providing excellent filtration and airflow while remaining reusable for the life of your equipment.
The RU-2922 is built with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges that absorb engine vibration for a more secure mounting interface. These flanges are designed to be flexible, allowing them to stretch up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to accommodate slight variations in intake pipe sizing.
