The K&N 57-1538 FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to provide a streamlined airflow path. By reducing air turbulence and increasing the volume of cool air reaching the engine, this system delivers a guaranteed increase in horsepower and throttle response.
- HDPE Intake Tube: Features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube designed to maximize airflow velocity.
- High-Flow Filtration: Equipped with an oversized, washable, and reusable oiled cotton air filter that provides excellent filtration for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
- Thermal Protection: Includes a custom-designed heat shield to help protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures.
- Installation: Engineered to bolt directly to factory mounting points, typically requiring less than 90 minutes for a complete installation.
