The K&N 69-8700TP Typhoon Series intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing for improved airflow efficiency. Featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a polished finish, this system provides a smooth path for air to reach your engine. It includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter made from washable oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is provided to help isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, and the entire system can typically be installed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
