The K&N RU-5040 Universal Clamp-On Air Filter is engineered for a broad range of high-performance and specialty applications, including custom racing intakes, generators, and agricultural equipment. This oval tapered filter provides a high-flow filtration solution where standard OE replacements are not applicable.
Built with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges, this filter is designed to absorb engine vibration while maintaining a secure attachment. The flexible flange material allows for up to 1/16-inch (1.5mm) of stretch, ensuring a tight fit on slightly oversized intake tubes. Like all K&N performance filters, the RU-5040 is fully washable and reusable, providing a sustainable alternative to disposable paper filters.
