The Koni Special Active rear shock absorber utilizes patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to bridge the gap between high-performance handling and ride comfort. This mechanical valving system automatically adjusts to road conditions, providing firm damping for controlled cornering on smooth asphalt while instantly softening to absorb harsh impacts and expansion joints. Unlike electronic suspension systems, Special Active dampers provide adaptive performance without the need for sensors, cables, or controllers.
