Fits select 2007-2015 Mini Cooper, Cooper S, Clubman, and John Cooper Works models (excluding Countryman). This Koni Special Active right rear shock absorber utilizes patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to provide an uncompromising balance between handling performance and ride comfort.
By using a mechanical valve that senses the frequency of road inputs, the Special Active series automatically adjusts its damping force. This allows the shock to remain firm for flat cornering and reduced body roll during spirited driving, while softening instantly to absorb harsh bumps and expansion joints. It is a direct-fit replacement for the original equipment damper, engineered to improve tire grip and chassis stability without the need for complex electronics.
