The Koni FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) rear shock absorber provides a significant upgrade over factory dampening by combining firm chassis control with a smooth ride. This patented technology uses a secondary internal valving system that remains firm during high-frequency cornering and braking to reduce body roll, while instantly softening during low-frequency impacts like expansion joints and rough pavement. Unlike electronic adaptive suspensions, Koni FSD achieves this purely through mechanical valving, requiring no wires, sensors, or external controllers.
