The Koni Special Active series utilizes patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to bridge the gap between track-focused handling and daily driving comfort. This rear shock absorber automatically adjusts its damping force based on the frequency of the road surface, providing firmer control during spirited cornering and a smoother ride over expansion joints and rough pavement. Unlike electronic adaptive suspensions, the Special Active system is entirely mechanical, requiring no cables, sensors, or complex controllers for installation.
