The KYB SM5580 Strut Mount is engineered to restore original equipment suspension performance by eliminating the vibration and harshness caused by aged, hardened insulators. As a critical link between the strut assembly and the vehicle chassis, this mount cushions road impacts to reduce the jarring effects and cabin noise often transmitted by worn factory components.
This replacement mount features integrated front bearing plates which serve as the steering pivots and support the vehicle's weight.
