The KYB Excel-G Front Right shock is engineered to restore the original ride control, stability, and handling characteristics of your Honda Prelude. Classified as Original Equipment for the Aftermarket (OEA), this strut is manufactured on the same assembly lines as KYB's global OEM products. It utilizes a twin-tube, nitrogen gas-charged design and OE-quality internal components to provide consistent damping without altering the vehicle's factory-designed suspension geometry.
Designed for professional technicians and DIYers alike, the Excel-G addresses common suspension wear symptoms like increased stopping distances, excessive body roll, and reduced lane-change responsiveness. To ensure long-term performance, it is recommended to replace the strut boot (KYB part number SB108) to protect the chrome piston rod from salt and road debris.
