The KYB Gas-A-Just KG4537 is a high-pressure monotube shock absorber engineered to restore the original handling and control characteristics of the C4 Corvette suspension. Unlike conventional twin-tube shocks, the Gas-A-Just uses a specialized monotube design with two separate working chambers. An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area ensure immediate responsiveness, while a secondary high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber with a floating piston eliminates aeration and provides consistent damping during performance driving.
- Direct OE replacement designed to restore factory-level damping and stability
- High-pressure nitrogen gas charge and floating piston for instant response to road inputs
- Monotube construction eliminates performance fade by preventing oil foaming and aeration
