Fits select 1955-1985 Avanti II, Buick Riviera, Chevrolet (Bel Air, Corvair, Corvette, Impala), Pontiac (Bonneville, Catalina), and Volvo (142, 144, 145, 164) models.
The KYB Gas-a-just is a high-pressure monotube shock absorber designed to provide significantly more control and response than traditional twin-tube designs. By utilizing a completely separate hydraulic chamber and a high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, the Gas-a-just eliminates performance fade caused by aeration (foaming) during spirited driving or rough road conditions. This design allows the shock to instantly and automatically adjust to your performance needs, keeping tires planted and electronic safety systems operating as intended.
