The MagnaFlow HM Grade Federal/EPA Compliant Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 23227 is a bolt-on replacement designed to maintain factory exhaust flow dynamics and emissions performance. This unit features a compact, low-mass spun body design with a single laser fusion weld to eliminate potential leak points and optimize thermal efficiency. The assembly is constructed from 16-gauge 409 stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing for superior corrosion resistance and maximum service life.
This direct-fit converter interchanges with OE part numbers 5083 056AB and 5083 057AB. It is engineered to meet or exceed Federal EPA requirements for OBDII-registered vehicles. The package includes essential gaskets and hardware, featuring Torca Accuseal clamps for a full 360-degree seal and OE-sized barbed hangers made from 410 stainless steel to ensure secure fitment and reduced vibration.
