The MagnaFlow HM Grade Federal/EPA Compliant Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 23226 is engineered to replace worn original equipment units on select 1993-2020 Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Toyota C-HR models. This unit restores factory-level exhaust flow and maintains engine efficiency by replicating the original flow dynamics and geometry of the factory part.
Constructed from heavy-duty 16-gauge 409 stainless steel, this converter features mandrel-bent tubing to prevent restrictions and ensure smooth exhaust gas velocity. The compact, low-mass design promotes greater thermal efficiency while the 308 stainless steel MIG welds and 410 stainless steel hangers provide long-term corrosion resistance and durability. As a direct-fit component, it bolts onto factory mounting points without the need for cutting or welding, utilizing 3D scanning technology to ensure precise alignment.
