The MagnaFlow 12589 Straight-Through Performance Exhaust Muffler is engineered to deliver a smooth, deep exhaust tone and optimized flow for custom or replacement exhaust systems. This universal muffler features a 5x11-inch oval body at a 22-inch length, constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a clean satin finish.
Internally, the 12589 utilizes a perforated stainless steel core wrapped in stainless steel mesh and acoustic fiber fill. This straight-through design minimizes backpressure while effectively managing sound. The reversible, bi-directional configuration allows for versatile installation, accommodating either a center or offset orientation for the 3-inch inlet and outlet.
