This Manley Platinum Series single piston (Grade B) is engineered for high-performance engine builds and targeted repairs. Machined from high-strength domestic 2618 alloy forgings, these pistons are designed to withstand the extreme cylinder pressures of turbocharged EJ-series platforms. Each piston utilizes Manley’s unique fixturing process, which machines the skirt and ring grooves in a single operation to ensure the ring grooves remain perfectly square to the skirt for superior sealing and reduced blow-by.
- High-Strength Forging: Constructed from 2618 aluminum alloy for superior structural integrity under boost.
- Precision Skirt Profiles: Proven cam and barrel skirt profiles generate substantial power while remaining gentle on cylinder walls.
- Optimized Ring Seal: Exacting standards for ring lands and grooves enhance sealing efficiency for maximum power delivery.
- Wrist Pins: Includes premium Chrome Moly wrist pins as standard equipment.
