The Manley Platinum Series forged piston set is engineered for high-performance EJ205 builds utilizing a 79mm (+4mm) stroker crankshaft. These pistons are forged from domestic 2618 aluminum alloy to withstand the increased thermal and mechanical loads of forced induction. Featuring a 93mm (+1mm) bore and an 8.5:1 compression ratio dish design, this set is optimized for efficient combustion and improved ring seal.
Manley utilizes unique fixturing that allows for skirt turning and ring groove machining in a single operation, ensuring perfect squareness. The skirts are treated with a moly coating to reduce friction and protect cylinder walls during high-RPM operation. This complete set includes rings and premium Chrome Moly wrist pins to ensure a reliable rotating assembly.
