These pistons are forged from domestic 2618 aluminum alloy, providing superior structural integrity and heat resistance compared to standard cast or hypereutectic components.
Each piston features Manley's signature cam and barrel skirt profiles, optimized to reduce cylinder wall friction while maintaining stability at high RPM. The 9.3:1 dish design is precision-machined using a unique single-operation fixturing process that ensures the ring grooves are perfectly square to the skirt for an exceptional ring seal and maximum power extraction.
