Forged from domestic 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons feature a dish design and specific cam and barrel skirt profiles that maximize power while minimizing wear on cylinder walls. Manley utilizes a unique fixturing process that allows skirt turning and ring groove machining to be completed in a single operation. This ensures absolute squareness between the ring groove and the skirt, resulting in an exceptional ring seal and improved oil control.
