Engineered for high-performance Ford 2.3L EcoBoost applications, this Manley Platinum Series Extreme Duty Piston Set is built to handle the extreme cylinder pressures of forced induction. Forged from domestic 2618 alloy, these pistons feature specialized cam and barrel skirt profiles that optimize power output while remaining gentle on cylinder walls for long-term durability.
Manley utilizes a unique manufacturing process where skirt turning and ring groove machining are performed in a single operation. This ensures absolute squareness between the ring groove and the skirt, providing a superior ring seal and increased power. These pistons are designed to accommodate up to +1mm oversized valves, making them ideal for builds with upgraded cylinder heads.
