As a Grade 3 component, it meets the precise dimensional tolerances required by professional engine builders for high-performance applications.
Each piston is forged from domestic 2618 high-strength aluminum alloy. Manley utilizes a unique fixturing process that allows for skirt turning and ring groove machining in a single operation, ensuring exceptional squareness between the ring groove and the skirt. This precision, combined with specialized cam and barrel skirt profiles, enhances ring seal and minimizes cylinder wall friction for maximum durability and power.
