The MBRP Armor Plus Series (SLM) provides a high-flow, 4-inch turbo-back exhaust solution specifically engineered for the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel. This system replaces the restrictive factory exhaust with mandrel-bent T409 stainless steel tubing to maximize exhaust flow and significantly reduce backpressure. By eliminating the muffler with the included delete pipe, this kit delivers a deep, aggressive diesel tone and allows the engine to breathe more efficiently, supporting improved performance and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).
Built for durability in moderate climates, the T409 stainless steel construction is resistant to penetrating rust. The system is designed for a precise, bolt-on installation using the vehicle’s existing factory hangers, requiring no welding or custom fabrication.
