The Method Race Wheels MR701 Bead Grip® is engineered specifically for overland enthusiasts who require maximum tire security in challenging terrain. This wheel features patented Bead Grip® technology, utilizing integrated grooves on the bead seat to engage the tire bead. This allows for significantly lower tire pressures during off-road use—levels that previously required heavy beadlock wheels—to increase traction without the risk of debeading.
Built for durability, the MR701 is constructed from solid A356 aluminum with a T6 heat treatment. It features a reinforced inner lip derived from Method’s race wheel designs to increase overall strength and a classic 8-window face with a debossed Method logo. An aggressive safety hump on the bead seats provides an additional mechanical barrier against tire separation.
