The high-revving S54 engine in the E46 M3 demands significant thermal management, especially during track use or spirited driving. The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator (MMRAD-E46-01) replaces the failure-prone plastic tanks of the factory unit with a 100% brazed aluminum core and TIG-welded end tanks for maximum durability and heat rejection. By employing an extremely dense core with an optimized tube and fin layout, this radiator significantly improves cooling efficiency for both naturally aspirated and supercharged applications.
This radiator is a direct bolt-in component, requiring no modifications to fit with the stock fan clutch and shrouding. It provides a substantial 25% increase in coolant capacity and a 32% increase in coolant surface area, ensuring lower operating temperatures even in warm climates. Every unit is backed by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for long-term peace of mind.
