The Mishimoto Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit is designed to significantly improve engine cooling efficiency and heat dissipation for your rotary-powered vehicle. This kit replaces the bulky factory shroud with a lightweight, brushed aluminum unit that provides a direct-fit installation on both OEM and Mishimoto performance radiators. By utilizing a shroud rather than open-mounted fans, airflow is effectively pulled through the entire radiator core, maximizing cooling capacity during high-stress driving conditions.
This kit includes two 12-inch high-flow slim fans that deliver over 1,100 CFM each, providing a substantial increase in airflow over stock components. Beyond cooling performance, the shroud serves as a secure mounting point for the fan blades, protecting essential engine components from damage. The slim-line design also helps clear up valuable space in the cramped RX-8 engine bay.
