The factory cold-side intercooler pipe on the 6.6L Duramax is prone to failure under the high heat and pressure levels typical of diesel performance. Mishimoto engineered this cold-side pipe and boot kit to provide a significant upgrade in reliability and airflow. The 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum pipe eliminates the restrictive bends found in the stock component, contributing to improved power delivery and reduced Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs).

This kit features Mishimoto silicone boots with proprietary DuraCore technology. The innermost layer consists of a high-grade synthetic material designed to resist heat, pressure, fuel, and oil, preventing the leaks and blowouts common in standard silicone. To ensure a leak-free seal under boost, the kit includes constant-tension T-bolt clamps for secure, accurate holding power. This bolt-on upgrade requires no additional tuning for installation.
