Turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost engines generate significant heat, especially during track sessions or aggressive street driving. When oil temperatures climb, the factory liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger can struggle, potentially leading to coolant overheating and oil degradation. Mishimoto engineers developed this direct-fit oil cooling solution to protect your engine and maintain optimal performance under stress.
The kit features a large 19-row oil cooler mounted in the front of the vehicle for maximum airflow. The mounting position on the passenger side is specifically chosen to avoid interference with most aftermarket air intake systems. This kit includes a thermostatic sandwich plate, which is essential for street-driven vehicles as it prevents oil flow to the cooler until the engine reaches operating temperature. The system utilizes -10AN braided stainless steel lines for durable, high-pressure oil transfer and comes with all necessary application-specific mounting hardware.
