The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake Kit provides a documented bolt-on power increase of 7 whp and 5 wtq for the ZC6/ZN6 platform without requiring ECU recalibration or front bumper removal. This system replaces the restrictive factory intake with a high-flow oiled filter, a smooth-bore silicone induction hose, and a mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe. The CNC-machined mass airflow (MAF) housing features an integrated air straightener to ensure laminar flow across the sensor, maintaining safe air/fuel ratios and accurate readings throughout the powerband.

To combat heat soak and protect against engine bay temperatures, the kit includes a black powder-coated steel airbox. Designed for a true bolt-on installation, this intake can be fitted in under 30 minutes using basic hand tools and is fully compatible with Mishimoto oil coolers and oil fill caps. The serviceable oiled air filter offers a 16% increase in surface area over the stock unit for improved filtration and flow.
