Fits 2015-2021 Subaru WRX Base, Limited, and Premium models. The Mishimoto performance air intake is engineered to optimize airflow while maintaining safe air-fuel ratios on the factory tune. This kit features a polished aluminum intake pipe and a wire-reinforced silicone lower induction hose designed to resist collapsing under high-boost conditions. By utilizing the stock intake duct, the system draws cool air into the high-flow Mishimoto oiled air filter, which offers significantly more surface area than the original paper element.
This kit includes an enclosed airbox to isolate the filter from engine bay heat-soak, ensuring lower intake air temperatures (IATs) and a clean, factory-style appearance. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process that typically takes one hour using basic hand tools. This system provides an aggressive induction tone and amplifies turbocharger spool and bypass valve sounds for a more engaging driving experience.
