The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake Kit is engineered to optimize airflow and increase power on the VA-chassis Subaru WRX. This kit replaces the restrictive factory induction system with a free-flowing wrinkle red aluminum intake pipe and a high-flow oiled air filter, providing significantly more filtration surface area than the stock paper element. The result is a more aggressive intake tone and improved turbocharger spool and bypass valve sounds.

To ensure consistent performance under high boost, this system includes a wire-reinforced silicone lower induction hose designed to resist collapsing. The included enclosed airbox shields the filter from engine bay heat-soak while utilizing the factory intake duct to pull in cool ambient air. This setup is a direct bolt-on installation that functions safely with the stock engine calibration and can be installed in approximately one hour.
