Fits the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST. The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler provides a substantial cooling upgrade over the factory unit, designed to handle the high heat loads of tuned EcoBoost engines.
This direct-fit intercooler features a massive 4.3-inch thick core that is 128% larger than stock, providing 32% more external fin surface area. In real-world testing, these efficiency gains resulted in a 34°F (18.9°C) drop in outlet air temperatures and consistent power increases of 5 hp and 7 ft-lbs of torque. To ensure a reliable seal under high boost, the inlet and outlet are CNC-machined with a ribbed design to prevent coupler slip.
Installation is a direct bolt-on process that requires no modification to the front bumper. Note that while factory shrouding can be retained to direct airflow, the active grille shutters must be removed to accommodate the increased core thickness.
