Fits 2015-2021 Subaru WRX Base, Limited, and Premium models. High oil temperatures can compromise the reliability of the FA20 DIT engine, especially under track conditions or aggressive street driving. This Mishimoto direct-fit oil cooler kit is engineered to work in conjunction with the factory liquid-to-liquid cooler to maintain optimal thermal stability.
The kit features a large 19-row stacked-plate cooler mounted in the front bumper using application-specific brackets to ensure maximum airflow. To facilitate a clean installation, the included CNC-machined aluminum sandwich plate provides necessary clearance for the stock oil filter. High-pressure stainless steel braided lines with preassembled -10AN fittings direct oil to and from the cooler, providing a robust, leak-free connection. This setup is proven to achieve a 25-degree Fahrenheit (13.9-degree Celsius) drop in oil temperatures with minimal pressure loss.
