Fits select 2014-2021 Subaru WRX and Forester 2.0XT. The Mishimoto Street Performance Top-Mount Intercooler (TMIC) is engineered to solve the heat-soak issues of the factory unit, especially on vehicles running Stage 1 or Stage 2 tunes. This kit replaces the stock intercooler with a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core designed to maximize cooling while maintaining minimal pressure drop.
Constructed with fully cast aluminum end tanks that are TIG-welded to the core, this intercooler is built to withstand increased boost pressures. The design provides a 76% increase in core volume and an 81% increase in external fin surface area compared to the factory equipment. Testing shows these improvements result in a 34°F drop in outlet temperatures and a 12% increase in total airflow, providing the consistent intake temperatures needed for reliable performance.
