The factory top-mount intercooler on the FA20DIT engine is prone to heat soak, especially when boost levels are increased beyond factory parameters. The Mishimoto Street Performance Top-Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered to provide superior cooling for vehicles running stock tunes up to Stage 2 maps. By replacing the restrictive stock unit with this high-efficiency bar-and-plate core, you can maintain lower intake temperatures and consistent power delivery during spirited driving or daily commutes.
This kit features durable cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a robust core designed for maximum cooling and minimal pressure drop. The increased surface area and volume allow for significantly better heat dissipation than the original equipment.
