The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake Kit replaces the entire restricted factory induction system with a high-flow 3-inch aluminum intake pipe and a custom-engineered airbox. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, this kit routes air directly from the factory inlet ducts to the turbocharger, utilizing a 3-inch mandrel-bent pipe for a significant reduction in pressure drop. The open-top airbox design seals against the hood to isolate the filter from engine bay heat while facilitating maximum airflow from the front of the vehicle.
This system is engineered to function safely on the stock engine calibration, providing dyno-proven gains of up to 12 whp and 15 wtq without requiring a custom tune. All necessary brackets and weather stripping are included to ensure a secure, rattle-free fitment using factory mounting points.
