The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler (Charge Air Cooler Manifold) is engineered to meet the thermal demands of high-output BMW S58 engines. Featuring a robust bar-and-plate core TIG-welded to cast-aluminum end tanks, this manifold provides superior durability and heat dissipation compared to factory units with plastic tanks. To support high-horsepower builds, Mishimoto includes integrated provisions for port fuel injection (PFI), featuring optimized port geometry for efficient air and fuel mixing.

This kit is designed for a seamless, factory-like installation, including brackets to organize wiring, a mount for the stock engine cover, and custom EVAP lines. A strategic plenum cutout allows for oil filter changes without removing the manifold. The system includes a billet fuel rail and ethanol-safe PTFE -AN fuel lines that tee directly into the stock fuel system. Anodized aluminum injector blanks are also provided to cap ports when port injection is not in use.
