The G8X chassis utilizes a vulnerable undercarriage placement for its factory oil cooler, leaving it susceptible to road debris and scrapes. The Mishimoto performance oil cooler addresses this weakness by replacing the stock tube-and-fin unit with a heavy-duty, TIG-welded bar-and-plate core. Featuring CNC-machined aluminum end tanks, this cooler is built to withstand the rigors of both daily driving and track use.
Beyond durability, this unit provides a significant thermal upgrade. With a core that is 35.7% thicker than stock and a 41% increase in total core volume, it ensures superior oil temperature regulation under high-load conditions.
