The Mishimoto Performance Top-Mount Intercooler (TMIC) is engineered to overcome the thermal limitations of the factory FA24 cooling system. This upgrade replaces the restrictive plastic end tank unit with a robust cast-aluminum design and a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core, significantly lowering intake temperatures and improving airflow for consistent performance.
This kit features a core with an 88% increase in volume and 76% more fin surface area compared to stock. These improvements yield a 40.6% increase in flow, allowing your turbo to work more efficiently while maintaining outlet temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient. To maximize cooling, Mishimoto includes a scaled intercooler shroud that utilizes the full width of the factory hood scoop. An integrated, pre-drilled 1/8-NPT port is also included for easy installation of boost or temperature sensors.
