The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator is a critical upgrade for BMW E30 and E36 owners looking to replace the prone-to-failure plastic OEM radiator. Built for both street and track applications, this radiator eliminates the risk of leaks and overheating caused by brittle factory tanks. Its full-aluminum construction and dual-row core provide significantly improved heat dissipation and cooling capacity.
This radiator is designed as a direct bolt-on fit, utilizing factory mounting points and retaining compatibility with the stock mechanical fan, shrouding, and OEM sensors. It includes mounting points for the factory external automatic transmission cooler and comes with a magnetic drain plug to capture metallic debris within the cooling system.
- Two-row, 1.57-inch thick brazed aluminum core for maximum cooling efficiency
- Aircraft-quality aluminum end tanks, precision TIG-welded for superior durability
- Functions with factory mechanical fan and stock shrouding
- Precision-machined inlet and outlet for leak-free connections
