The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator for the 1997-2004 Ford Mustang addresses a critical failure point in the SN95 and New Edge chassis. High torque can cause the factory chassis to flex, leading to separation between the OEM radiator end tanks and the core. To solve this, Mishimoto utilizes a patented floating bracket system that allows the radiator to move independently of the chassis, preventing stress-induced leaks and core damage.
This radiator is a direct-fit upgrade for manual transmission models, engineered to drop into factory mounting points without the need for cutting or trimming. It features a high-efficiency 1.57-inch thick brazed aluminum core for significantly improved heat dissipation over the stock unit.
