The Mishimoto Performance Cold Air Intake Kit is engineered to provide your E46 BMW with increased airflow and a significantly more aggressive engine tone without the need for a custom tune. This system is designed to maintain safe air/fuel ratios under load while replacing the restrictive factory airbox. By utilizing the stock intake duct, the kit ensures a steady supply of cool outside air reaches the high-flow Mishimoto oiled air filter.

Constructed for durability and performance, the kit features a black powder-coated steel heatshield with pre-assembled rubber trim to isolate the filter from ambient engine heat. The included high-flow filter provides a larger surface area compared to stock paper filters and is fully washable and reusable for a lifetime of service. This complete bolt-on unit installs in approximately one hour using basic hand tools and is fully compatible with factory or Mishimoto silicone intake hoses.
